Staples Kicks Off Back to School Sales

Posted: Updated:

It may feel like summer just started, but the words back to school are already popping up around Minot. Staples officially launched the 2014 back to school season today.

Fifty-three percent of parents shop for school supplies a month before the first day of school, and Staples in Minot is ready for them.

The store's manager, Carly Gonzales, says the store has items all season long that are priced at the lowest price possible to simplify back to school season for all of their customers.

"That way they're not looking for each ad and kind of seeing what to get here and there. And they can get it anytime during the back to school season," she says.

With big price cuts on school supplies, Staples customers like Sue Johnson think the sales make supply shopping with her grandson Brody a lot more enjoyable.

"You know everything is going up in price these days. Kids have to have new notebooks new pencils, new crayons, everything. It seems year to year they have to, you know, start fresh so it is fun to find things. Not just fun, but economical." Johnson says.

With the high demand for school supplies for all ages this time of year, Staples is happy to help students and parents kick off a new school year without breaking the bank.

Staples in Minot will run back to school deals from now through September.
