Fire Destroys Lincoln Home

Posted: Updated:
A fire destroyed a former North Dakota rodeo queen and her family's home last night.

The family left for about five minutes, and when they came back, part of the house on fire. Carson said she tried to put out the fire with the hose, but the fire only got bigger. Most of the home burned down before it could be contained. This morning the family is sifting through what is left.

"They've lost computers, cell phones, passports, wallets and purses, so there is a lot going on in the next couple of days. But the main thing is that everyone is fine," says Carson's grandpa Tim Reuer.

Investigators are still working on finding the cause of the fire.
