16-Year-Old Girl Thrown From Vehicle

Posted: Updated:
A 16-year-old girl was thrown from a vehicle last night after the car she was riding in crashed into a ditch.

The state highway patrol tells us the crash happened around 3:30 yesterday afternoon near Lisbon, North Dakota. The driver of the Chevy Cavalier was a 17-year-old male. He was driving east on Ransom County 71st Street Southeast and lost control of the car. The vehicle crashed into a ditch, went through a fence and rolled in a ravine.

Both people in the car were transported to Lisbon Area Health Services. The female passenger was later air-lifted to a Fargo hospital.
