ATV Crash Near Thompson, ND

A reminder today to always wear a helmet when driving a four wheeler.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol tells us a Reynolds, North Dakota man was driving towards Thompson when he lost control of his ATV on the loose gravel road. He drove into the ditch and the four wheeler rolled several times and the driver was thrown off. Troopers say the driver was not wearing a helmet during the crash and was unresponsive when the ambulance got to the scene. The driver was taken to Altru Hospital by ambulance and is listed in serious condition. 

The name of the driver will be released once the family is notified.
