Camp Ed Closes with Sidewalk Painting

Posted: Updated:
Camp Ed is coming to a close, the teacher says she thought it'd be fun to incorporate art, math, reading and science into one big project Fizzy Sidewalk Painting.

The class created a special type of sidewalk chalk that appears to jump off the sidewalk when students spray vinegar on their creations. The children told me that science was quickly becoming their favorite subject.

"The kids have been really excited and when they're excited about Camp Ed. They stay on task, and I really encourage all the kids next year to come to this camp. We do fun things and it's way better then just sleeping and watching television," says Gail Rothschiller of Camp Edventure.
