Kadrmas Lee and Jackson Expands to Florida

Posted: Updated:
A local engineering and planning firm is expanding its services to the Sunshine State.

Kadrmas Lee and Jackson today announced the opening of their Florida office, which will specialize in hydrogeological services and provide water supply, management and well water-system consulting to the community.

"For Florida, it brings a partner that does a lot of community involvment and that's something I think that's some times lacking in South Florida, and we hope to expand that into other parts of that state as well," says Senior Hydrogeologist Mike Waldron.

"We had a relationship with some past work with Mike and saw some opportunities with some things we're doing up in the Bakken with this hydrogeology nitch. We thought not only could we use it up there, but there's a real market for it down in Florida. So, it's kind of a two fold thing where we can use the expertise in an area where we're already working up here in our home and also expand geographically," says Corporate Product Officer Barry Schuchard.

KLJ now has 24 offices in six states.
