Court Finds Clark Guilty

Posted: Updated:
The second man involved in the murder of John Swain was found guilty of conspiracy to murder today.

During closing arguments, after a three day trial, the prosecution argued that Joshua Clark's testimony had many inconsistencies with what he told police during the investigation. Clark tried to persuade the jury to believe that Swain had already been murdered by Theo Crowe. He also said, he remained involved because he was scared of what Crowe would do to him. Prosecution countered that theory with Clark's testimony that he was not threatened verbally or physically.

"It didn't come out as we planned, and we had hoped for and planned for curated a different decision. They made a decision.  I'm assuming they can live with that decision," says Defense Attorney Kent Morrow.

Clark could face life in prison without parole.
