Committee Prepares for Rodeo Days

Posted: Updated:
Rodeo Days has been a part of Mandan's history for more than a century. And getting prepped for that legendary event is no easy task.

Organizers say it takes volunteers and committee members weeks to prepare the grounds. And because of the weather over the last few weeks, they've needed all the extra man-power they could get.

We got rained on-dumped on on Saturday. I think everybody wished for a little wind and we got that yesterday. So, we had some tents blow down over at the hospitality tent but a lot of our volunteers are here today, and the show must go on," says Rodeo Days chairman Bruce Schirado.

Rodeo Days starts tomorrow and goes until Friday. For more information visit http://www.mandanrodeo.com/.
