Police Arrest Man in Connection to Grand Forks Murder

Posted: Updated:
The second man wanted for shooting a Park River man three times has been arrested in St. Paul.

Delvin Shaw, 30, was found barricaded in a home around 10 this morning. St. Paul police say they received a tip that helped them find Shaw. Grand Forks police have been looking for him since Tuesday as a suspect in the murder of Jose Lopez.

Court documents say Shaw and Dametrian Welch, 18, broke into Lopez's home. After a confrontation, Shaw shot Lopez three times. Shaw has been moved to the Ramsey County Jail. Welch is already in custody at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
