Car Chase Startles West Acre Shoppers

Posted: Updated:
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation has a lot of explaining to do. Police in Fargo and witnesses say they haven't done that yet.

It started out with a high speed car chase Tuesday in neighboring Moorhead, Minn., which went through a golf course where people were playing.

It ended up at West Acres Mall in Fargo, where officers in plain clothes ran in with guns drawn, obviously startling customers and store employees.

The problem is, law enforcement didn't tell anyone at the mall what was going on. All agencies involved are now trying to smooth things over.
