Police Continue Search for Minot Shooter

The Minot Police Department made an arrest related to this weekends shooting.

On June 15, officers stopped a vehicle carrying a 44-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. Later, police arrested the driver Robert Putney Jr., 31, for driving under the influence and simple assault.

Putney pleaded guilty to both charges and has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Authorities are still investigating the shooting, and the woman remains in critical condition.
