Working On Fitness

Posted: Updated:
Rain or shine, Jim Hill sixth graders in Minot were working on their fitness in a fun way.

In order to keep young students engaged in exercise, physical education teacher, Leah Wheeling decided to get the students outside, splash some water and blast some music.

"Just keeping them moving and creative. Teaching them that they can come up with any kind of game they want. Presenting to them that having fun is cool. We just have a blast with everybody,” says Wheeling.

This is the second year in a row that the school has discovered creative ways to introduce fitness, but the first year it was held outside.
