U.S. Attorney General Visits Bismarck

The U.S. Attorney General will visit Bismarck on Thursday. Eric Holder will deliver remarks at the fourth annual Tribal Consultation Conference at United Tribes Technical College.

U.S. Attorney Tim Purdon says his office is extremely excited to welcome Holder to Bismarck.

"This will be the first time that a sitting Attorney General has visited North Dakota since Robert Kennedy was here in September of 1963 and gave his historic speech to the National Congress on American Indians here in Bismarck. Given that history, I think it's especially appropriate that Attorney General Holder is going to be here to participate in the U.S. Attorney's Office's tribal conference," says U.S. Attorney for North Dakota Tim Purdon. 

The conference is hosted by the U.S. Attorney's office of North Dakota.
