Surrey Lifts Water Advisory

Posted: Updated:

The city of Surrey reports water reserves have reached normal levels again and the no water advisory has been lifted.

On Thursday morning, city officials learned of the potential health risks to the city's water supply due to a loss of pressure at the water tower and distribution system, which may have allowed disease-causing organisms into the water supply.

Water testing was done and on Saturday afternoon, the city was notified by the North Dakota Department of Health that results of the water testing came back approved.

Once again, the no water advisory has been lifted and the water reserves have reached normal levels.
