Posted: Updated:

The man who was arrested by the Minot Police Department for causing the bonfire explosion, on April 19, was back in court today.

Westin Mattison, 19, pleaded not guilty to all charges relating to the incident that hospitalized five people. Police determined that Mattison tossed a car shock-absorber onto a fire during a party at 35th Ave. SE.

His charges were changed from one to five counts of endangerment by fire or explosion, all class B felonies.

Mattison pleaded not guilty to all five counts. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for July 30.
