Governor Proclaims EMS Week

Posted: Updated:
If you pass by emergency medical services (EMS) this week, North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple is asking you to be respectful.

He's dedicated this week to EMS workers across the state. Wednesday is specifically emergency medical services for children day. More than 5,000 people serve the state in emergencies including physicians, nurses, EMT's, paramedics and firefighters to name a few. This year's celebration marks 30 years of honoring those first responders.

For more information about emergency medical services week, contact Tom Nehring from the North Dakota Department of Health at 701-328-4728.
