Women's Network Receives Grant

Posted: Updated:
A new coalition will address human trafficking and sexual exploitation throughout the state. The North Dakota Women's Network received a $25,000 grant to build a Force to End Human Sexual Trafficking.

FUSE is a collaborative project of five diverse organizations. The coalition will conduct community outreach and education, explore public policy solutions and foster victim service interventions.

"It's a new emerging issue that seems to be addressed in many factions, and we feel it's time to bring people together. All in one place," says Renee Stromme of the network.

The grant money came from the S.L. Gimbel Foundation, which is a private family foundation.
