Perkins Finishes In Top Five

Posted: Updated:
The final three on "The Voice!" doesn't include the Scranton native Kat Perkins.

Perkins didn't make it into next week's round.

She sang "Good Girl" by Carrie Underwood in yet another attempt to get enough Twitter votes, but this time she didn't have enough votes to continue on.

People in her hometown gathered to watch to see if she'd make it to the finals, but they say they're still proud of how far she made it.

"It wasn't the outcome we wanted. However, we support Kat no matter what. We will buy her music and we will go to her concerts. We hope that she'll come back to southwest North Dakota to have a concert for us, whether its in Hettinger, Scranton or Bowman we will travel to where ever she's at," says Stacy Chadwick.

We'll get another chance to see Perkins on NBC because she will appear and perform in "The Voice!" finale.
