Second Annual Burleigh County Cup

Posted: Updated:
The first Burleigh County Cup was held last year and had 48 riders. This year the number of participants has grown tremendously.

114 Bikers made their way to Eagles Park this morning for this year's gravel bike race. Riders could choose between two courses: one was 35 miles and the other was 75-geared more towards more experienced riders.

"Just being able to see all the people coming out. Being involved in cycling-just giving everybody in our community a chance to be active and handle things like that," says co-organizer, Ian Easton.

Easton says the 35 mile riders take about two to three hours to complete the course, 75-mile riders take four to six.
