Bismarck Police Officer Fires Gun at Suspect

A Bismarck police officer fired a gun after a suspect pointed his gun at officers.

Bismarck P.D. responded to the 2300 block of East Main Ave. around 1 a.m. Saturday after someone called in saying they were being threatened with a gun. When police arrived on scene they found the suspect running from the area. An officer then fired his gun at the suspect, but missed.

They began to search the area and found the suspect hiding underneath a car. He was then taken into custody. A firearm was found at the scene and was brought in as evidence. 

No one was injured.

Bismarck Police are asking the public to let them know if they saw or heard anything in the area. The police can be reached at 701-223-1212.
