Dickinson Construction Update

Posted: Updated:
As spring construction continues, the City of Dickinson would like the public to be aware of  the Interim Bypass changes.

The daytime speed limit on 113th Ave. SW from I-94 to 35th St. is 25 mph to accommodate lane closures. Only one lane of traffic is open in each direction and travelers must be aware of signage. Concrete paving is being laid at 35th St. and 15th Ave. in the northbound lane. The concrete paving includes ADA ramps and sidewalks on the west side and a multi-use path on the east side.

Until construction is completed, travelers will experience small detours in the rural areas of the bypass where traffic is being shifted around grading work. Traffic is detoured for one mile of roadway on 33rd St. from 113th Ave. to 112th Ave.

The speed limit is at 25 mph 24 hours per day on 113th Ave. SW from 35th St. to 33rd St. for grading and coating.

The speed limit on 35th St. at 113th Ave. SW is at 15 mph and traffic is detoured onto the new concrete paving.

Traffic on 21st St. West will be detoured to the southeast quadrant of the roadway onto the new concrete.
