Census Bureau Addresses Population Issues With Teamwork

Posted: Updated:

The U.S. Census Bureau says North Dakota is the fastest growing state, which creates a few obstacles to overcome.

John Thompson of the Census Bureau was in Bismarck to address those issues, especially a way to increase the quality of data production. He says one way to make sure it happens is team work.

"Forming local partnerships and working with local communities will help. If we can't reach out to the local communities, we're not going to have a good census so that's one of the most important things we can do," says Thompson.

North Dakota now has an all time high population of 723,393 residents.
