Shiloh Honors Veterans For Military Kid Month

Posted: Updated:
Shiloh Christian School honored the men and women who serve our country, and their families as well.

This is all part of the nationwide Military Kid Month. Students dressed in purple to show support of the troops.
But that wasn't all. The school held an assembly which included giving medals to the children of men and women in the armed forces.
And they had some fun too. They saw a live chalk drawing from Bob Upgren. The picture was meant to inspire both the adults and children.
"It was incredible to watch his creativity come forth. The little ones in our chapel were just completely engaged as he drew a faith oriented, patriotic image that was an inspiration," says school Pastor Matt Anderson.

Anderson says the chalk drawing presentation was something that touched folks in a way that only art can.
