Insurance And Financial Advisors Gather For Convention

Posted: Updated:
Insurance and financial advisors from all over the state are coming to the Magic City for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors State Convention.  But, it's been a long time coming.

Minot was originally supposed to host the convention in 2011, but with flood, the chapter was forced to trade locations with Fargo.

During the three-day event, members and non-members will have the opportunity to network, attend informational seminars, and take continuing education classes to hopefully take back and implement in their agencies.

"We live in a changing world.  The insurance and financial industry is moving with that change, so this is where we have an opportunity to meet with professionals from all over the state and all over the country that come in.  We discuss it, we decide, you know, what kind of things we need to work towards and what kind of products we need to work on for our customers,” says Kim Albert the president of the Minot NAIFA.

The national president of the organization is making his first-ever trip to North Dakota Thursday morning.
