Former Trinity High School Principal Enters Plea

The former Trinity High School principal accused of setting a fire inside the school in early March waived his preliminary hearing today, and pleaded not guilty to felony charges of arson and endangering by fire or explosion.

Thomas Sander, 30, appeared in Southwest District Court with his attorney for just a few minutes, simply to waive his hearing and put in his plea. The court has not scheduled the next proceeding yet.

Sander is charged with starting the fire inside Trinity that destroyed the school's main office and caused extensive damage throughout the rest of the building.
