Posted: Updated:

A Moorhead man faces 16-years in prison for serving as co-leader in a drug ring.

David Cerna Jr., 37, brought kilogram quantities of meth from Texas to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Co-conspirators also obtained large quanties of marijuana from the Minneapolis area too and distributed it throughout the local area.

Prior to Cerna's sentencing, seven other members of the ring were also sentenced, including his brother Juan Cerna, who will serve 18 and a half years in prison, and Sean Ingebretson who received 12 years.

Three other members are awaiting sentencing.
