City Announces Spring Cleanup Days

Posted: Updated:

The city of Dickinson wants a cleaner town. To do that they are promoting it's annual Spring Cleanup Campaign. From May 3 until May 10, residents are encouraged to hit the streets and pick up trash.

The fire station, Chamber of Commerce and City Hall will be giving out trash bags. After an area has been cleaned, the city asks residents contact the Dickinson Baler Building at 456-7776 so the bags can be picked up at curbside.

The city also asks to not throw out any large or hazardous items. Those can be disposed at the Baler Building at May 3 or May 10 at 7 a.m. to noon.

Used motor oil, un-bagged vegetation (grass, leaves, garden plants), old ashes, aluminum cans, cardboard and co-mingle paper products (office, newspaper, magazines) can be dropped off at the following recycling drop sites: 600 block of West Broadway, 900 block of 15th St. West, 600 Block of States Ave. and the Baler Building.

For more information contact the Baler Building at 456-7776.
