Fire Department Investigates Apartment Fire

Posted: Updated:

The fire department is investigating an apartment complex fire that happened early Saturday morning in Jamestown.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says residents had already evacuated when 25 firefighters arrived on scene. Nobody was hurt, but the department says there is a lot of damage.

"I don't have an estimated cost, but there is smoke damage throughout the building. Two apartments had extensive damage," says Mohr.

The Red Cross assisted those who were displaced.
