Sinner Seeks House Seat

Posted: Updated:

The first candidate has announced their intent to run for North Dakota's lone U.S House of Representative seat.

George Sinner says he will be seeking the endorsement from the democratic party at the state convention later this month.

He has more than 30-years experience in the private sector and has served in the state senate since 2012. He also says he will represent both sides of the isle if elected.

"I'm not a liberal, I'm not a conservative, on either side extreme. I'm a moderate. I'm in banking. I work with business everyday, and I work with farmers. I understand peoples' problems, I understand the importance of a farm bill, and I understand all these issues that people are concerned about," says Sinner.

The seat is currently held by Representative Kevin Cramer, who has not yet announced his intent to run for re-election.
