Minot Lends Dickinson Trinity A Hand

Posted: Updated:

Help is on the way for students, teachers and staff at Trinity High School in Dickinson. Catholic schools around the state, including Bishop Ryan in Minot, are coming together to help everyone at Trinity get back on their feet after Monday's fire.

Bishop Ryan will hold a dress-down fundraiser next week. For a small donation, students will be able to dress out of their school uniforms for a day. It's a small effort, but the school's staff feel it's important to lend a helping hand.

"Well I think for us, especially because of what we went through with the flood, we realized that one of the ways we can continue to show how grateful we were for all the people that stepped forward to help us, is to pay that forward," says the enrollment director of Bishop Ryan Jaimie Brunner. "And that's why we just decided that it was a no-brainer for us on Monday morning. It didn't matter what the circumstances were or what was going on down there, we needed to do something to show our support."

The dress-down fundraiser will be held next Wednesday. All of the proceeds go to Trinity High School.
