Hoeven Supports Sanctions Against Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin says he has no intention of taking over Ukraine's Crimea region.This after Russian forces were previously seen in the country.

Earlier today Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in the nations capital to show U.S. Support for Ukraine's new government. Senator John Hoeven says the United States should, along with our allies, pursue economic and diplomatic sanctions against Russia if they don't withdraw from Ukraine.

Hoeven also says those measures could include working with the United Nations to get a resolution ordering withdrawal and expanding travel bans for Russian officials.
