Wishek Man Continues To Receive Birthday Wishes

A simple post on Facebook from a woman in Wishek has gone global. It's been one week since we ran the story on Harold Krueger. His daughter Debra asked her friends on Facebook to send Harold a 90th birthday card.

The post has been shared 762 times. The link to the story we ran and posted on our Facebook page was seen by more than 27,000 people and shared 126 times. Krueger has well over 1,000 cards and numerous gifts. His story was posted on Ellen Degeneres' "Good News Blog", The Huffington Post, CNN, Yahoo.com and a handful of media outlets in Europe. As of today he's received cards from 47 states and 9 countries.
