Main Street Minute: Trendz Boutique

Posted: Updated:

A woman with an interest in fashion decided to chase her dreams by opening a business in the Magic City.

For owner, Nycole Burton, her boutique has been a long time coming.

"It was about 18 months," says Burton.

While the process was long, Burton never gave up on her goal, and she was able to buy her own storefront. She wants to be able to offer different clothing options for customers at an affordable price.

"All my merchandise, I don't have to mark up as high just because I don't have the rent that other places do," says Burton.

The original idea was to become a jewelry store, but it became much more.

"When I started thinking, I realized that Minot didn't have a whole lot of the boutiques that you see in the bigger towns or the bigger cities and I just thought it would be fun to bring a nice variety to Minot," says Burton.

Burton carries anything from clothing to jewelry and accessories. Currently, Trendz Boutique is open Thursday to Saturday, however she's willingly to make exceptions.

"If you wanted to come in with your girlfriends and we're not open or you're from out of town, you can just call us and set up an appointment," says Burton.

Trendz Boutique is located on 400 46th Ave. Northeast in Suite 12. For more information on they're store hours and updates visit www.facebook.com/trendzboutiquend.
