The St Mary's Central High School's winter carnival has been a staple event throughout the Bismarck community, and today kicked off it's 63rd year.

The three day carnival has a variety of midway games, silent and live auctions, and some new additions have been added to the activity list.. Like a crafts room, cake walk, bingo, and 50/50 game

"We aim for something for the whole family," says 2014 carnival chair, Zachary Dosch. "We hope to have something for the little kids. We have the midway for a lot of the little kids, we have the silent and live auctions for the older people a lot of great items in there are a lot of practical things that you would be buying. Anyway's, so hopefully if you'd buy it anyway's you could give us a shot, a meal every night, even if we don't have a meal going on, we have concessions for that."

To wrap up the carnival, St. Mary's is giving away a mustang car to one lucky winner.
