Culture Kaleidoscope Takes Students Around the World

Posted: Updated:

International travel is one of the best way to understand another culture. But not many can afford the experience.

Fortunately some Bismarck Public schools are able to treat their students to an international experience through The Cultural Kaleidoscope. The schools received grant money to host a Russian folk art performer to teach the children and create a performance.

"Our future generations to have a better life. And the kids are well educated. And well educated is, in our understanding, is not just how to know, how to read and how to count. But, how to be a well rounded person," says Sergei Shapoval, Cultural Kaleidoscope.

Grimsrud and Pioneer students have already performed what they've learned. Sunrise's performance is tonight at 7, and next Friday is Solheim.
