Sanford Creates Program for Weight Management

Posted: Updated:
It isn't your typical weight loss system.

"People don't just come in for a weigh in," says store manager, Shelly Eidsness. "They're actually sitting down for a half an hour appointment with a coach and talking about what's been good this week, what were your challenges?"

And aside from the one-on-one coaching, employees say Profile works because of high-protein products, lifestyle modification education and different technology that's there to help monitor progress.

"Each member, when they sign up, gets a bioimpedance scale, which measures not just your weight, it also measures your body fat percentage, your muscle mass, your bone density, your hydration level," says Business Development Specialist, Tom Bry. "You also get a data-bridge, and then that syncs all the information from your scale onto our profile plan web page."

Also, if you're struggling with medical issues, employees say the Profile plan can help.

"We also see lots of members who come in and they might have cholesterol issues, they might be pre-diabetic, have high blood pressure," says Eidsness. "So, some of the successes that we've seen with that is that they are able to come off their medications entirely or at least reduce them, along with their weight loss."

It's a sustainable program that goes beyond a diet. Profile provides a one-on-one experience for those folks looking to shed a few pounds with ease.
