Dutton Released From Jail

Posted: Updated:

Kynan Dutton will be released from jail today after pleading guilty to 7 misdemeanor accounts.

Dutton was originally charged with 7 counts of terrorizing by brandishing a weapon in the small town of Leith on November 16.

After spending about 3 months in jail, Dutton's Attorney and prosecutors entered a plea agreement. The agreement reduced the first 5 counts of terrorizing to a Class A misdemeanor of menacing, and counts 6 and 7 to Disorderly Conduct, which is a Class B misdemeanor.

Judge Donald Jorgenson accepted the plea agreement and sentenced Dutton to 2 years of supervised probation and to testify against Craig Cobb. He also must pay $560 in court fees.
