What's Trending: Evening on Broadway

Posted: Updated:

If you love the Broadway musical, "Wicked" or if you just love Broadway in general, trending this week is the perfect night for you.

Tonight and Saturday night, the Bismarck Mandan Civic Chorus is hosting their annual "Evening on Broadway." Every year they pick a different theme or musical to base it off of, and this time around they chose, "Wicked."

The musical won more than 50 major awards including Grammy's and three Tony Awards. It's on tour now all across the country, but you can get a taste of it right here in Bismarck. Members say, this event adds life to the community.

"It's so important for the community to come out and support artisitc event like this because it really is community support that makes the happen and that really make Bismarck/Mandan an interesting place to live," says Matthew Leidholm,  Bismarck Mandan Civic Chorus.

If you would like to go to the show tonight or tomorrow night, the show is at 7:30 at the Sidney Lee Auditorium at BSC. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students. You can get them at Eckroth music or at the door.
