Stay Fit During Pregnancy

Posted: Updated:

Staying active and eating right is important for your day to day living. And, it can also do wonders while you're pregnant.

Research shows that women who exercise during their pregnancy can reduce acnes and pains; and in some cases, labor and delivery could be easier.

Also, active moms-to-be can usually bypass those baby blues and postpartum depression.

"For me personally, exercising throughout pregnancy just helped my attitude. It helped my hormones. It gave me a purpose. It gave me something to get up and do everyday," says Courtney Killian, YMCA Fit Pregnancy Instructor.

Fit Pregnancy classes are offered in Minot at the YMCA on Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information, you can contact them at 701-852-0141.
