Main Street Minute: Four Points by Sheraton

Posted: Updated:

With so many hotels opening up in the community, it's important for management to stay competitive. On this week's Main Street Minute, Sarahbeth Ackerman checked out the Four Points by Sheraton, which is doing just that.

The Four Points wants their guests to feel like their home. After traveling for miles to get to their destination, General Manager, David Wick says it's important to unwind.

After you've checked in, there are several amenities to choose from. Whether it's the fitness center, the pool or the bar there is something for everyone.

Wick took over the Four Points in December, and he says that in order to keep customers interested, it's the little extras that make all the difference.

"You want to mix it up. You want to be able to look at what's worked in the community, what are people enjoying and what they're wanting in the community," says Wick.

And, one way to bring more business into the hotel is by offering special events.

"Adding comedy and different events gives them a good feel of there's more do in Minot and we want to be the place for that," says Wick.

Starting this weekend, Four Points will be offering comedy nights. Wick says he hopes this will be an excellent way for people to enjoy their evenings and have a few laughs.

The live comedy kicks off this weekend with different show times on Friday and Saturday. For more information on hotel accommodations or comedy shows, you can contact the hotel at 701-838-5200.
