Henrikson May Face More Serious Charges

Posted: Updated:

James Henrikson, 34, was arrested yesterday in Mandan. Henrikson had been the target of an investigation lead by the FBI, the IRS, Homeland Security Investigations and several other agencies.

Currently, Henrikson is charged with illegally possessing guns as a felon, but investigators in Spokane, Washington are also interested in Henrikson since the December 15 murder of a Spokane businessman, Doug Carlile, who was Henrikson's partner.

Investigators believe Henrikson hired a man to kill Carlile. Federal agents searched Henrikson's home earlier in the week, though he has not yet been named as a suspect.

Henrikson may also be tied to a North Dakota missing persons case, when his employee Kristopher Clarke went missing in 2012.
