Man Injured by Railway

Posted: Updated:

Minot police and rescue responded to a call shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday night from Canada Pacific rail, claiming that one of their trains might have struck a man near the East Burdick viaduct.

Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found Mason Manroe, 22, of Minot, who said that he had been drinking during parts of the day.

Manroe was taken to Trinity Hospital where he was treated for a cut on his head.

It is not known yet whether or not Manroe was hurt on the tracks, or the actual train.

Manroe was actually lying between the track's rails while the train passed over him.
