Washington Murder Leads Investigators to North Dakota

Posted: Updated:

A murder in Spokane, Washington has led investigators to North Dakota. In an affidavit sent to the NBC affiliate, a Spokane source says a man in Watford City played a role in the man's death.

Timothy Suckow, 50, is charged with killing 63-year-old Doug Carlile December 15, but authorities say 34-year-old James Henrikson of Watford City is connected to the murder.

Carlile and Henrikson were business partners in the Bakken. Court documents suggest Henrikson hired Suckow to kill Carlile because of unpaid debts adding close to $2 million dollars.

Authorities searched Henrikson's home in Watford City yesterday, but they didn't find anything and they don't know where he is.
