CAT Bus Reaches Milestone

Posted: Updated:
One million riders. Something the Capital Area Transit accomplished in less than 10 years.

The CAT serves both Bismarck and Mandan, and the people who work there say the feedback over the years from the riders has been positive. Now, the goal for the company is to maintain growth and service to the communities.

"We want to continue to see rider ship increase so that we can continue to increase our routes, increase the number of buses we can do and increase the number of times we run those routes so we can better serve the public and people of Bismarck and Mandan," says marketing director and mobility manager Jen Raab.

The CAT bus officially turns ten years old this May.
