648-yards rushing on 52-carries with 10-touchdowns. That's just two players in one game. Bismarck's Ricardo Galindo and South's James Johannesson combined for that output back in September. Ricky had 410-yards rushing and 6-TDs.
"I think it people expect that type of game, I don't see anything like that. I think it was two teams feeling each other out. Two teams that didn't tackle well, and I think it was two very good running backs but the one thing the surface was very sloppy which was a huge advantage to our running backs and the skill guys," says head coach Mark Gibson.
"Whichever team steps up on defense and that's really what we're going to work on focus on the running game they have, because it's very respectable and also their passing game because that have too receivers too," says senior Blake Murphy.
Bismarck and South have combined to win the last seven Triple-"A" championships.
