Surgeon Returns to Williston

Posted: Updated:

The boom in Williston has attracted a wide variety of workers, including doctors. One orthopedic surgeon has returned to Williston after working the past 15 years in Idaho.

Dr. John McNulty is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacements. He met his wife Sherry when he was working in Williston from 1990-1998. Her desire to be close to family is a main reason the McNulty's decided to move back to Williston.  Dr. McNulty explained an increased need for orthopedic surgeons also attracted him back to the area.

"The amount of workers compensation injuries is encouraging. There's a big business there, and I look forward to participating in that. I have quite a bit of experience in Idaho working with workers compensation problems and that's one of the main reasons I'm back here. I enjoy doing that and look forward to taking care of those injuries" explained Dr. McNulty.

Dr. McNulty is an avid golfer and also enjoys pheasant hunting.  His family will join him in Williston in 2014, after his son Ryan finishes high school.
