Authorities Search for Suspects in Bank Robbery

Posted: Updated:

Authorities are looking for two men who robbed a Medina bank this morning. It happened around 10:30 a.m.

Two men entered Northland Financial Bank, approached the bank counter and demanded money. One of the men had a handgun.

Upon receiving the money, the robbers fled from the bank in what authorities believe was a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer. A vehicle matching that description was later found abandoned on a gravel road south of Medina.

The robbers were both described as approximately 5'6" - 5'8".  Both wore masks, and bulky dark clothing.  At least one of the robbers is suspected of being of African American decent.  Both robbers are believed to be in their late teens or early twenties.

The suspects could be driving a light-colored, late-model Lincoln Navigator.
