Sex Offender Notification

The individual whose name appears on this notification has been convicted of a crime against a child or an attempted crime against a child, or has pleaded guilty to a sexual offense. In accordance with North Dakota State Law this individual must register as a sexual offender or an offender against children.

The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

Address: 1436 Richmond Ave. Bismarck, ND

Information narrative:  In February 2011, Schily pled guilty to two counts of contributing to the delinquency or deprivation of a minor.  The charge stems from Schily having sexual contact with two female children under the age of 14 who were being babysat by Schily's girlfriend. Schily was over visiting the babysitter when the incidents occurred at a Bismarck residence.  He received a one year jail sentence with 298 days suspended for 18 months. He is registered as an Offender Against Children.
