I knew I wanted a career in journalism the day I started writing for my school's newspaper in eighth grade. From there, my passion for telling people's stories has taken me all over the East Coast. I am from outside of Philadelphia, but have also reported in New York and Virginia. This is the furthest West I have ever traveled, so I'm excited to explore Bismarck and Dickinson. Every day brings a new challenge and new people to meet, and that's what I love about this job!
I graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Throughout my time at Syracuse, I worked in the News Department at YNN the city's 24-hour news network. I'm not just passionate about news reporting, though. I also spent a summer with WAVY-TV's Sports Department in Portsmouth, Virginia. This gave me some of the best reporting experiences in my career thus far; I had the opportunity to talk to Percy Harvin (while he was with the Vikings) and Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers!
Outside of work, I love to travel, do yoga, and play guitar and discover new music. I am also an avid sports fan, so you can always catch me watching every Syracuse basketball or New York Jets game! If you have any story ideas for me in the Bismarck or Dickinson areas, send me an e-mail at email@example.com.
