Dive Team Finds Scott Eagle's Body

Posted: Updated:

The Three Affiliated Tribes says the body of former Council Representative Scott Eagle was recovered from Lake Sakakawea this afternoon.

Eagle was on a family outing on Tuesday, July 30 when he fell overboard.

After two days of searching, a dive team from Black River Falls, Wisconsin was called in, and today they found his body.

Chairman Tex Hall has ordered tribal flags to be flown at half-staff until the funeral.
